Gout Attack! OUCH!!!

I've experiencing another gout attack these past four days! Ouch!!! It's horrible that I don't wish gout upon my enemies. Maybe, if I'm feeling devious, sinister, and depends on who my nemesis was. I experience gout attacks about every year. The first time was in 2013 and OH MY GOODNESS!!! I'm not joking about that first-time pain in my left toe. I woke up in the morning, probably when my brain is coming out of the sleep. It was like being bitten. Earlier of that year, I had another mild flare up months after my first attack.

Since 2013, I tried avoiding RX anti-gout medication, e.g. Allopurinol, because I wanted to try to handle the situation via diet modification. I don't drink any alcoholic beverages, sodas, and abstain from beef. Maybe once in a rare blue moon, I'll make Beef Curry and treat myself. It has been about 6 months that I stopped adding sugar into my coffees and teas. I'm doing my best at diet modification, while staying clear from purine-rich foods that would cause elevated uric acid levels in my body.

This time, enough is enough. I'm going to request my PCP place me on Allopurinol as prophylactic treatment of my painful and annoying condition.

Right now: I'm experiencing pain in my left toe and the pinky toe on my right foot. I also can't put the weight on my right foot. The right ankle is affected, because I can't turn/rotate my right foot now without feeling sharp pain.
