Burmese Yellow Split Pea Fritters ("Baya Kyaw")

Burmese "Baya Kyaw" This appetizer is similar to the Indian vada variety. The texture is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I made these a little big. The traditional size is about half of the portion shown and should be oblong-oval and not flat. There is always a next time. I don't have a recipe for this, because the mixture is in a bag with Burmese words, which I can't read. I chopped some shallots and thinly-diced chillies and included into the mixture.
